Ok guys what would you say this R33 GTR is running given the spec below:

Uprated Garrett Steel turbos (capable of upto 1.6 BAR)
Massive Trust Intercooler
Trust Oil Pump
Apexi Power FC
Full Exhaust system
OS Gicken Triple Plate
HKS Oil Cooler
Greddy Fuel Pressure Regulator
Twin Blitz Induction

Not sure on the injectors/headgasket and nor is the owner, therefore I drove it at 1 BAR to be safe. Drives smooth as a whistle

have a very similar spec:

mine made 440bhp @ 1bar with standard injectors and chipped ecu

looking to go for 1.6bar with same tubbies as above with my new hydra, injectors and 1.4mm head gasket.
hoping for near 500!!??

will this be possible??

I would have thought you would make 500 at 1.4 BAR. Do you have uprated cams?

maybe splash and dash, but not permanent

anyhow, why not concentrate on torque rather than bhp???

with the minimum upgrades at 1.2 bar around 400-450

anything over that you will need cams for a better bhp figure

bhp is not everything, cars running under 400bhp can be quicker off the mark than 500+

I am in no way or means an expert, but my guess would be

Mapping, Turbo choice, manifolds and down pipes and exhaust

Hard pipe kit and several other aids

The most important is mapping, as all the bits fitted and mapped incorrectly wont help you a sausage

true that on the mapping part. It took a lot of tweaking of my ignition map to get response where I wanted it (while keeping knock well under control), and then adjusting the fuel map to fit the ignition map, to cool things down and ensure nothing leans out too much. But response really came from my ignition map programming - everything else was more or less just to support the final ignition map.

doesnt seem a lot for fly, im close to that without cams, injectors, fuel pump or a map??
I think the difference would be my car would do that all day without a major problem,fuel pumps and mapping is money well spent.

Treg has Tomei cams 260 Poncams

1 bar of boost at 4000rpm

355 lb/ft of torque at 4200rpm (1,2 bar)
390 axle bhp at 7000rpm. (1.2 bar)

my car full boost by 3800rpm 1bar

390ftlb 1bar
438bhp 1bar
my car has run fine!!! drag raced all season!!

no cams, stock ecu!!! had it checked over if anything it was slightly rich!!!
