A question

There is a seemingly very tidy R32 GTR for sale just down the road from me.

its been in the UK for 13 years and has history to reflect this.

Its got basic stage 1 mods, inc steel turbo's.

he wants 8 grand ONO for it

but

its done 212,000km

it had a full rebuild at 138,000km and has run fine since.

its had the gearbox rebuilt, and 2,500km ago had a new cylinder head fitted. (not sure why)

The shocks, brakes etc are aftermarket.

question

1.) would you still consider it a "high mileage vehicle" despite the mods/re-build

2.) and would this put you off buying it?

All work has been done by RK or Abbey, apart from the rebuild all those years ago and the cylinder head was replaced by a subaru specialist in northampton (he has reciepts etc)

btw, in 13 years, it's only had 2 owners

Any input?????

thanks

If it runs sweet, it probably is. It's a tough call.

Bearing in mind the suspension bushes, CV's, wheel bearings etc are all well used and could become problematic at any time.

so really a full vehicle check from a specialist would identify if those sorts of things have been dealt with over its lifetime.

i dunno if its expensive at £7000 or not, esspecially after checking the for sale section on here.....
