Does the 109 have lead in it? The typical 109 here in the States is unleaded. If there is no lead in the fuel, it will not damage the catalysts or the lambda/oxygen sensors. However, lead will clog both the catalysts and the porous outer area of the lambda/oxygen sensors, so stay away from leaded fuel.

As above, if it is leaded do not use.

If it is leaded then it'll be ok, but using it neat would be a waste, as you won't benefit from 109. Far better to add 10-15 litres to each tankfull of 97 to give a little bump to around 100.
