Looking at buying a set of these off a member here. Specs are 272 dur with 9.6 lift. I cant find any info on these cams anywhere. Would these be a simple swap of the stock cams or would there be any work needed to make them fit. Any info about them would be great.
I think these would go well with my 2860-5s.

You probably can't find any info on them, as HKS doesn't make them (at least not any more).

The only HKS 272 duration cams available are:
In 272° 8.7 lift, Ex 272° 8.7 lift – STEP 1.
and
In 272° 10.2 lift, Ex 272° 10.2 lift – STEP 2.

Hope this helps, more info at HKS's website ;)

You will almost certainly have to relieve the area around each tappet bucket bore for lobe clearance, it's fairly straightforward on a Bridgeport universal mill or similar. Even I managed it and I am not an experienced miller :)

You can see the circular reliefs in the pic below. I can't remember the sized cutter I used, about 20 mm I think.
