Although certainly no stranger to Detailing himself, Andrew had asked if we could come and give his new GTR a New Car Detail so he could see how we did things and then carry on maintaining (more like meticulously detailing) the car himself.
The car was washed with Duragloss Shampoo, SP Sheepskin Washmitts and dried with SP Uber Drying Towels. This was followed by claying the car with our SP Ultrafine Detailing clay and SP Quick Detailer as the lube. A few light scratches were removed from the bonnet before a coat of Poorboys White Diamond Show Car Glaze was applied by Kestrel DA Polisher and a finishing pad to cleanse the paint. Two coats of Finish Kare #1000P Hi-Temp Sealant were applied and once removed a final wipe down with Serious Performance Show Detailer using our Uber Detailing Towels for that final finishing touch. Exhausts were polished with our new (soon to be released) SP Metal Polish and tyres were dressed with our new SP ‘Dilute To Suit’ Tyre & Trim Dressing.

The results (and apologies for only being cam phone pics :chairshot)…

Rear

Reflections…

Gravel effect wheels?

Shiny pipes and more reflections…

Thanks for looking!

Water alone can do it to the disks if you leave a car standing after alot of rain.... We only use acid/alkaline free cleaners or citrus based cleaners, this means there can be no risk of damage and as chippy says, one drive up the road and it's gone.

Cheers :).
