Nobody knows. The R35 is actually fitted with an advanced Malteaser AWD system. Some people have complained that the handling is soft round the edges.
LMAO poor asked a question and got all this, fair enough he could have looked for nissan website but funny nevertheless

or simply looked on Google...

It's the most written-about car of recent years. The info ain't exactly hard to find! :chairshot

Having said that, they definitely are not producing just 485ps. Minimum 500hp on superunleaded and LOADS more torque than claimed too. Just put yours on a rolling road if you don't believe me.

Guess what, R33s didn't produce 276hp either! :D

1750kg is the declared weight of the car, though I suspect that with the Premium trims (heated seats) and Bose sound system (11 speakers etc), this may be higher for some models.

The reason for the differences in power is because of
a. different model years (original JDM release was 480ps. 2009 models was supposed to be 485ps)
b. some magazines claiming the published hp numbers were underdeclared because some of the dynos were reporting pretty high dyno figures.

For b, I think a lot of it has to do with dyno inconsistencies. A couple of us ran a rolling dyno (used for Group N rally cars IIRC) and got 380whp for stock R38, which is in line with the loss in hp for a 4WD car. With an Amuse ECU reflash (everything else stock), it was 411whp.

All r35s prior to 2010 are 473hp (480ps). And 2010 and later is 485hp iirc.

Anyways each dyno reads differently and only two dyno types factor in real drivetrain losses for true crank hp which have confirmed those crank numbers!

Those very dynos confirm a 10% friction loss just as nissan stated due to low friction bearings and dual clutch trans which has very little power loss.

Search hyper power at GTRCenter for the articles that prove it.
