Any 75/90 gear oil is good, the high pressure oil for rear axles is in my gearbox. (the one that still has a working Third gear)

I can tell you, from personal experience, that the standard parts are no longer available.

If you wish to rebuild your 'box, you'll need about £1200 and a large press, oh........and a few hours to spare.

Regards
Thats only for the R32's tho right?

My prelude crunches if I am hammering it from 3rd to 4th and has done for 30,000 miles - question is - What real harm is it doing? Has anyone actually got as far as the impending failure that we all fear???

When I had my R32 GTR it had an OS Giken gearbox. First gear started to sound funny cos one of the cogs' teeth broke. Had the entire set of cogs replaced and I have the rest of the cogs sitting in my garage. Don't know how useful it would be to you? Anyone want to comment?
