I'm not expert on dynos but some 4wd systems require that a 4wd dyno are "connected" both rollers by chain/belt otherwise you can melt your 4wd system (like the Porsche 993 with it's viscous coupler) and some dyno can be detached the front rollers from the back ones.
I'm interested in this as well as I'm planning to dyno my R33 GTR in a 4wd Mustang dyno soon however I'm afraid I could frie the transfer case for some reason?
