Does anyone know how to remove the hose ports for the pcv system on the rear top of the rocker covers? Iam looking to replace with an fittings and braided hose and can't seem to get them loose. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you
I removed mine by warming the local area with a hot air gun, watch the paint unless you are repainting them as I was. They then press out from the underside (need to remove baffle plate from inside cover).
Threaded the bore M24x1.5 and fitted Goodridge fittings 306-12-M24D.
They come off very easy if you ask me.... I just put a large screw driver into each hole on them and twisted back and forth...
Then after removal, I just bought two alum fittings, 1/2x-8 (you can choose what ever size you want for the AN hose size) and JB welded them in place.
They won't be under alot of pressure, so there is no need to worry about them being welded on. The two part epoxy glues, or JB weld will hold them in place just fine...
