Hey all,
I would like to know how you get the writing to light up on your website. I know Joss did something like I did in the past where you linked 2 different coloured images so that it changed colour when you went over it. The thing is this takes too long to load up and they don't load up properly, not to mention the alloted bandwidth you have to work with.
What I want to know is how you did it Joss as I want to do the same. I know its something to do with HyperText Transfer Protocol.
Please help!:)

Hi Elliot,

I have seen your website, but I could not see it properly.
I am using Windows 2000 professional and Internet Explorer 6.0.
Does everyone can see his website properly?

HTML

Use this..
<style>
div a { text-decoration: none; display: block; margin: 2px 0px; }
div a:link { color: #999999; }
div a:visited { color: #999999; }
div a:hover { color: red; }
</style>

then the <a> link things will light up in the colour of choice.

Thanks Joss:)
Shin, you should be able to view my website perfectly, I use windows 98 and Internet Explorer 6.0, Just the same as Joss really. The website is made on Geocities:eek: so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work.

Looks like you've put the page together based on too high a screen resoloution and this is why people are having problems viewing it.

Have you tried viewing it at different resoloutions to see what effect it has on frame sizing etc.

Resolution

Hi there,

I am using 1024x768 with 15" LCD panel display.
My PC is
Windows2000 Professional
Pentium3 866MHz Dual
and so on...
Is it because my OS and IE6.0 are Japanese version?

So, I am afraid if there are anyone who cannot see my website properly.....:(

Cheers,
Shin

And...

I think it is style sheet or html problem rather than resolution or PC specification....
You are using such as "div id="layer0" style="position:absolute;left:182;top:189;width:385;height:343;"" for your layout, I doubt it is the problem....

Cheers,
Shin

Cells

Shall I put all the links down the side in one cell. This should do the trick wouldn't you say?
