R32 GTR

I have high idle, and its worse when warm almost 2k

ECU I have checked ecu screw - this has been turned to lowest setting

AAC screw - also has been turned to lowest setting

TPS - when I disconnect the grey connector, it cuts out for a split second then sorts itself out
when I diconnect the black connector that connects to the right hand side of the TPS, there is no change whatsoever...so this is either, nothing to do with idle, or theres something wrong
Changing the position of TPS makes NO difference what so ever

I have removed AAC and clean the life out of it - then replaced and there is NO difference what so ever

I really dont want to get into cleaning inlet plenum, but fear this is where its heading :/

Any help much appreciated

Could be that the throttle body gaskets have perished, they are only paper. I had to take my plenum off to do some work underneath and mine had broken on #1 and #6. I only have about 50k miles on mine.

It doesnt get much use either.

that sounds about right; some sort of air leak on the intake side.

do you have any idea what your air/fuel ratio is at idle?

Spoke to abbey and they confirmed what I thought
The damn throttle butterflies
Will be taking the inlet off tomorrow for a look
Any threads (WITH PICS) that will help
All the threads I've found have had pics removed grrr

Really not looking forward to doing it

How to check afr without power fc?

If you get stuck i "should" be able to advise, its not that hard after you've done it once.

Make sure you order some metal gaskets for the throttle bodies and plenum too.

So,
Plenum is off, throttle bodies are off
But I'm wondering if I NEED to remove inlet manifold

What's the likely-hood of the manifold gasket gone?

I had already ordered the throttle body gaskets (hks metal)
And want my car back in the road

I'm waiting for the "you may aswel replace it"
But really need my car

Any ideas/info on the manifold gasket - do they go often?

just seen this thread,

abbey are correct

replace with HKS or TOMEI metal

you will be ok, not the nissan paper ones

Having an f ing nightmare
The only thing holding the manifold on is a pipe that connects at the back- left hand side as you're looking at manifold from the wing

The clip is the wrong way round and I can't get the little b stard off
Aarghhhhh
