It was brilliant, I really enjoyed watching how these bikes where built, Here are a few pics.











Over to the right is the assembly area.




All the bikes are very carefully hand built to what looked like a very high standard, Worth a visit next time they have an open day.

Funnily enough, a few weeks ago, I bought one of the machines used to cut the fuel tank parts out for Nortons. It was at a place called Spondon Engineering and was a bit of a time warp. Where you went looks a little more modern though!. I have to confess that I didn't even realise that Norton had started up again until I spoke to the guys who came and let me in the place. A lad who I did my apprenticeship with had an 850 Commando which was pretty epic.
