Hello, just got a r32.

It has HKS turbos but not sure which one.

There's the number 7926-1 on the turbo.

On the housing it says

094

then HKS

then 7926-1

GT-SS is my bet, looking at the compressor housing. Just a touch smaller than the HKS 2530.

Gt-ss turbos won't have HKS stamped on them.

HKS GT-SS don't have any HKS logo on turbine itself but GT-SS comes with HKS actuator STD(not like GT2530/40 that don't comes with actuator) so if you see that "square" shape on compressor housing it will be either of

still can't see the plaque from the top...might need to jack the car up

when i took the car out for a drive around the estate,i notice there's practically zero boost at all up to 3000rpm...couldnt go much higher as no road available

the car has hks manifolds, balance pipe, and hardpipe kit, f-con vpro, blue injectors

well now the prev owner told me they were 2540s, seem they do behave like them

is it true that all these, 2510, gt-ss, 2530, 2540 all have the same compressor housing?

at a rough guess

gt-ss boost hard at ~4000rpm depending on std or aftermarket cams
gt2510 at ~4300ish depending on std or aftermarket cams
gt2530 4.5k to 5k rpm depending on std or aftermarket cams
gt2540 boosting hard at about ~5k depending on cams

2 weeknds ago tried to jack the car up tohave a look from bottom but stil cant see shtt

wots the best way to really find out wat they are? removing fewest bits too coz i aint got many tools yet lol

finally confirmed me turbos are 2540s....spent a bit of quality time on the car today in the nice weather (cant believe just said nice weather lol)...
