I could be horribly wrong but wasn't the N1 model introduced with the BCNR33 ?
There was a BNR32 Nismo though.

From my recollection Nismo produced just over 500 R32 N1s, of which around 300 were sold. Very difficult to find any information on them though and not many people have heard of them.

So you don't mean the Nismo R32 that came out between the original R32 and the launch of the R32 V-spec ?

Here is when the various R32 models came out:

August 1989 GT-R is released(4.450.000Yen)

Feb 1990 GT-R Nismo is released(4.410.000 Yen)

July 1991 GT-R N1 Race sho is released (no idea about price)

August 1991 GT-R gets minor changes (4.510.000 Yen)

Feb 1993 V-spec is released (5.260.000 Yen)

Feb 1994 V-spec 2 is released (5.290.000 Yen)

From what I can make out on the GTR owners book, the N1 had no A/C, no ABS, no audio system, had a 2 L surge tank, Nismo metal turbine(same as the Nismo version of '90), bigger disc brakes, rear diff oil cooler kit and it only came in white. 228 were sold.

Hope this helps

:)

DCD - you've been working on your Japanese again :p

I didn't even see that in the book and I've had it for about a month.
Never knew there was a BNR32 N1 - neat!

DCD - that sounds like the jigger I'm after. I also suspect it may have even had wind up windows. I don't suppose you know anywhere I can find accurate specs on them?
