After going to the strip I wondered why I was getting soo much wheel spin compared to my old gtr (took the engine from that and put it in this but left the diff out as thought it was stock) so I opened the diff from the old and had a look but I am not too sure as the picture I am comparing to seems different.

Don't want to waste time fitting if it is a stocker though.

Found another pic of what is a nismo 2 way diff (That how it's advertised anyway)

What should I be looking for lol?

Nismo and stock R32 diff use the same casting so they look very similar. The Nismo ones have more friction plates as far as I remember.

What I see is different if you look at the last picture in my first post (stock diff) If you look through the flat bronz(ish) bits you can see three of these ">" type of grooves.

It's hard to explain, I'll try and highlight an image. On the CWP these numbers "s37.9 HK 1 5 23" and on the side of the housing it has C5D1 stamped on it.
