I don't get the preference of the black over the premium, particularly when the premium has the bose and sat nav installed.

Is it simply becuase that's what everyone says, or for particular reasons?

No reason to buy a black edition over a premium edition on the early cars.

Ive had both, black and premium in the old cars.

The difference is red bits of leather and a black headliner. Woop Dee Do.

I have just sold my 'Black Edition' MY09. When I was looking - I was obsessed with finding a Black Edition as most percieve it as a higher spec model! Absolute B*llox I must say!

The Premium Edition Leather looks soooooo much better IMO! The Red leather inserts on a black edition look very cheap quality and tacky! How often would you be looking at your roof lining???

I would buy another Black Edition again if EVERYTHING else on the car is right - i.e; mileage/history/spec etc. BUT - I would never 'favour' a Black Edition over a Premium Edition again! Its the car that is important - NOT the interior! :)
