Just putting this out for feelers, but would anyone fancy an Isle of Man meet?
Steam-Packet ferry from Liverpool on a Saturday morning, blast around, few beers and stay in a B&B before a morning blast and another ferry back on the Sunday afternoon?

There's no speed limits on the island, so it's good for a (sensible) hoon around.

Crossings are around 2h 45m

Thoughts?

Always wanted to go. Any possible dates?
The services run daily. We could go anytime, so let's see on the interest and we can do a poll?

Just as a guide, assuming the following dates:

Liverpool > Isle of Man
Sat, 20 Sep 2014
11:15 (dep) - 14:00 (arr)

Isle of Man > Liverpool
Sun, 21 Sep 2014
15:00 (dep) - 17:45 (arr)

Would work out at £231.81 per person for the Steam Packet.
Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino works out £85 per person, assuming 1 per room.

If we go after that date, then we might have to consider a Friday night crossing, as it's a late crossing on Saturday.

I live on the Isle of Man and would be happy to help with any arragements you guys need over here.

We have "no speed limit" but this is in certain areas which are getting less and less now.

There is a straightliners 1/4 mile drag race here on the island August 30th/31st if you were maybe thinking of killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
