I was suprised to find that my R34 25 GTT did not come with locking wheel nuts fitted as standard. I contacted my local Nissan dealer and was met by the usual moronic excuses from the Saturday boy that had no clue and ended up getting nowhere.

Does anyone know the following:-

1) Is there an official standard part?
2) If not is there a substitute available over the counter here in blighty?

I spoke to a local car shop who have been around for donkeys years and they actually bothered to go and do some homework with a nut manufacturer. They were told that Skylines had a different thread pitch to other cars here in the UK and as such no UK manufacturer makes them.

Thanks All
Andy

I had a set of locking nuts on my last R33.
I did not have the key!!
I manufactured a key to get them off, then boght a set of similar locking wheel nuts for a tenner in a small car shop in town.
The wheels were standard R33 wheels if that is any help.

Macedonia are my favorites

Wheel nuts and oil filters seem to be the only parts I can get from my local Nissan dealer in Germany.

They’re just normal Nissan Micra wheel nuts.
