My friend actually saw a red R34 GTR here in Southern California way back in 99, he couldn't believe it

It was a Nissan test car shipped in by Nissan.

And I saw

a yellow one on the M25 a few weeks ago around jctn 11 going clockwise ... it had a Nismo sunstrip.

Very striking ... like the F360s in yellow!

Red R34

There are 2/3 Red R34 GTR V-Specs in the UK.

One is near me and I have seen it several times, owned by a 50yr old businessman from new, he had a UK R33 before that. (I pulled up in the same petrol station and had a chat).

Another Red R34 was on the HKS stand at the last Autosport show at the NEC.

There is another used by JBL as a demo car, which features in their magazine adverts (though it may be the car above?).

Of the 80 official UK R34s, the last estimate was that about 50 were blue, 20 silver and the other 10 were split between black, yellow and red.

The customers who have bought imports have almost exclusively bought blue and silver, with a few blacks.

I have never seen a white R34.

Guy...white is one of the nicest colors for GTRs. Its very popular in Japan, but every one I see always has a big yellow stain on the rear bumper above the exhaust. Its just too much of a delicate colour to have...nice to see but not so nice to own I think...

White

If I lived in California, I'd consider white, it's a very practical colour there ie it is cooler in hot climates and wouldn't get so dirty as the roads aren't muddy.

In the UK, they just get dirty very quickly.
