Sunday 3rd September from 4pm 'till 10:30 (ish)!

This will be held at the Robin Hood Pub Bluebell Hill, as this is also the date for our normal meet we will carry this on as usual though a little later, from 2pm.

There is a covered 'bandstand' area should the weather not be too great!

Price per person will be £10, and £5 for children. There will be plenty of food for your money, burgers, sausages, chicken, potatoes, salads, french sticks etc!

There will be a mini 'show and shine' competition and certificates will be awarded for the best R32, R33 and R34. There will also be runner up certificates in these categories. There will also be a category for Best Other Car & Runner up. This can be any make or model, and a certificate awarded for winner and runner up. Entry for this will be £1. Simon the landlord of the pub will be the final judge on all awards. Please let me know if you could volunteer for judging duties.

We are hoping to have a charity raffle in aid of Demelza House children's hospice. This will be updated as we go and will let you know of donated prizes. You can read more about the charity here; http://www.demelzahouse.org/default.asp?id=2&ver=1
Any monies left over from the show and shine expenses will also be donated!

There are plans for there to be a disco on the night, and will be able to confirm this shortly!

I am hoping to add to the fun available on the night, so keep checking for updates!

The address is;

The address is :-
364 Common Road
Bluebell Hill Village
Kent
ME5 9RJ

For anyone using the M20, take the Junction 6 turnoff for Chatham/maidstone, and proceed to the roundabout keeping left. Take the first left which is the A229(Bluebell Hill) and follow this up the very long hill to the top and take the first left which has a lead off road down to a further roundabout.Head for Bluebell Hill Village Crematorium.Once on this road, follow it along(has a strange speed slowing curve ) until you come to the end of the road which is blocked off. Take the immediate right(Common Road) and follow the country lane until you see the Robin Hood Pub sign.

If you would like to come, could you please add your name to the list and that of any other people coming with you so we can keep the pub appraised of numbers. (Gotta keep the food flowing!)

Hi people,
Am still trying to get a raffle prize list together....begging like mad to all sorts
I really hope more poeple can come to this, as its a lovely Pub, the landlord is great, and a brilliant opportunuity for all the like minded Skyline owners to have a laugh together over a beer or 2 and some grub too.
We do deperately need No.s confirmation fairly soon though as the food and arrangements have to be made.
The Show 'N Shine is only a light hearted competition, nothing serious, but so many people spend so much time and effort on their cars, it would be a shame not to award them for it somehow. I'm trying (if time allows,) to turn the Certificates into trophies...at my own cost. They wont be F1 Podium quality, but hopefully fairly impressive nonetheless.
Just a few reminders and pointers for people turning up.
1.The Pub is down a quiet country lane. It has residents/hikers family etc walking down it at any time, so please bear this in mind when arriving. I'm sure both clubs appreciate the ettiquette required.
2.There are 2 very small ramps as you enter the drive down to the car park. If you have a low front or are loaded up, take them easy. They are only very low, but just be aware of them.
3.The car park area is at the moment still gravel, with a few low areas at the entrance. Please drive carefully and slowly. We all know what gravel car parks are like!!
4. This is a regular venue on Sundays for the Skyline people, so this is a good opportunity to see what a great little pub it is.

Please try and come along.....i think it will be a great day.
Hopefully, there will be music.
I'll try and update the raffle prizes in the next few days on both sites, in the meantime, continue to copy and paste the attendance list!

Cheers guys/gals. Hope to see you all there
