Just in case someone wants to make his/her R32 a lighter car I can produce the following R32 parts in kevlar-carbon:
- bonnet
- doors
- rear fender (from door to back side of car incl. A-style).
- trunk
- rear bumper
It's likely I'm going to produce kevlar-carbon parts for the R34; if there's enough demand I'll produce them for R33 as well, although the R34 parts are higher on the priority list. In the UK they will probably be available through a well known and well regarded outfit.
re. weight reduction: depends somewhat on which part it is. Between kevlar-carbon and steel, there's a reduction to 20-25% of the original weight. Between k-c and aluminium, it reduces to 50% (with the same thickness).
