My R35 has started making an odd knocking noise from the front drivers-side. It does it very rarely and only just after I have been over a speed bump (as in crawling over). It sounds like the noise you get from a worn CV joint, but goes away about 3 seconds after the car has levelled out. It only seems to do it from the drivers side. It's fine under normal driving. Anyone else get this, or should I book it in for an inspection?

I'm refreshing this thread.

I have the same problem with LHD car. Some knocking at right hand side like under dashboard.
I've been 4 times in HPC, and they sorted this knocking each time, but it was ok for 2-3 hours, and knocking appeared again.
It is some wire which touching to dashboard, but I'm not sure if HPC have tried 4 times and each time no luck.

Last time, I was informed in HPC that there are two more customers in my country with the same problem.
