Hi Guys,

Im a new member and am considering buying an R34 GTR and was looking at importing from japan-partner.com as i have been told that you may find a bargain.

If so i assume the speedo will be kph and will need to be converted to mph, is this possible and a simple process??

And also is the myth about importing a bit of a hype?

Converting the speedo can be done with an electronic box of tricks. Have a go on the search button as it's been covered a fair few times. Essentially it's easy if you're handy with screwdrivers and basic wiring (about the same level as fitting a car stereo).

Not sure what the myth about importing is. I've not heard of the company you have referenced so won't comment there. I found the process painless though if are concerned then one of the site's sponsors (see the Traders section) will be able to arrange things for you.
