Just had an email supposedly from Lloyds Bank, asking me to confirm details. As i don't use a Lloyds Bank account, i thought this a bit dodgy. Also the link to click on starts with https, so even more reason to be aware.

"Lloyds Bank" hasn't existed for over 5 years.

Basically, never click on anything in an email that purports to be from a financial institution. If they do ever send you email, it will never be to 'confirm your password', and it will invariably say "login to our website" rather than giving you a link to click.

Same rules go for Ebay and the like. In fact anything where money is involved.
