it could be oil left in the exhaust from the first set of turbos!

White smoke suggests it's water fwiw (blue = oil, black = unburnt fuel)

Well, white smoke suggests water being burnt rather than just leaking, i.e. possibly head gasket for example. Where was the leak?

Does it smoke continuously when driving, or just when accelerating, or just on the overrun etc.?

White is water as suggested above already. If it's smoking it's worst when in overrun I would do a leakdown test to see if the headgasket went.
That would be my first bet.
If not perhaps a cracked block...? Does she use water?

iirc smoking on overrun may possibly be valve stem seals? Obviosuly that'd be oil smoke, not water.

If the whie smoke goes away after some driving, it may well be condensation in the exhaust itself. Some pipes collect a lot to blow it all out again when you start her up after being standstill for a while. So let her warm up and see if the smoke goes away ;)

Leaking intercooler pipework usually results in black smoke due to running way too rich.
