Hi guys

i owned a 2009 (CBA) back in 2015 which had a Litchfield stage 3 which sounded great - sold her back in 2017 but got the bug again and have just bought a 2013 (DBA) which has just an ECUTek version 5 (I think) remap but with stock exhaust that doesn’t sound how I want.

So main thing Im looking for is for it to sound like Thor taking a massive s**t on full power and it’s been suggested to get a Miltek Y-pipe to getting a 102mm exhaust system to a stage 4.25 upgrade - think this means straight/down pipes included

So my question is who do I choose for a possible stage 4.25 upgrade as there are some different options out there and budget is also important as I’m running this and a RR sport too

litchfield - £4794

autotorque - £3486

Kaizer - £4660

SVR - ???? (Maybe someone knows the price)

Knightracer - £3420 or £3594 (quotes 2 prices on website)

Can anyone share any experiences with these as there is a £1300 difference from cheapest to most expensive which is a lot of doe

PS - I live in Lincolnshire if someone can suggest someone closer as all these guys are a distance away from me

I think to get the best price you'll need to speak to the Tunners as those prices are all quoted from a stock perspective. Given that your car is already licensed with EcuTek then i would think that there are some savings on the above prices.

At that level I'd favour whoever is local.

You could just go decat downpipes. Unsilenced y pipe and leave rear exhaust stock. Sounds good and it seems you can good money for your standard cats.

Then have injectors and panel filters fitted and it will deliver pretty much all that you desire with change to spare.

I like the product Litchfield offer. They map sensibly and leave you with a nice drivable car that should be as reliable as possible.

My car has the Litchfield 4.25 setup along with the GTC 102mm and Ecutek V7.

Iain mapped the car again last year on the new software as I was running a BETA version of Ecutek 7. Excellent results as always from them and the car drives excellent in all aspects....

I use JM-Imports for servicing and Jurgen/Aarin and the guys up there certainly know there stuff and offer anything from a stage 1 set-up to one of their 1000+ builds which they do quite a lot of. Maybe worth a call too?

ive just done mine and it cost £1020 for the intakes and injectors £350 for downpipes £1350 for a complete 102mm system and about £650 for mapping so I get that to £3370 I fitted all the parts myself and a bigger intercooler too, it was all pretty easy.

All the above are good traders in your list, so as said I'd just go with which are most convenient. But I'd call for specific pricing.

Jimbo has the right idea.

They're not difficult cars to work on, just the mapping is a bit more specialised and worth paying the money for.

Seen the Russ Fellows exhaust for sale on here?
His work is too notch and that'd save you a good amount of money compared to the cost of a new system. The 304 steel he uses comes up like new again should you want it like a mirror before fitting.

Don’t suppose any one knows of any tuners in Lincolnshire - I’m in talks with Corten-Millers to see what they can also offer

If you south west go to auto torque
Very good guys; quality work too
They use Ben Linney to map cars

If your proper south
Go to SRD tuning
Also use Ben linney

If your north
Go to jm imports: top dogs with big power reliable builds

AC Speedtech would be another choice , depends what you want but the same power can be done for a lot less, you need a Y pipe, Ive seen stock cats knocked out of downpipes but with the current value you can buy a pair of downpipes, sell yours for £700 and pay for a Y pipe !! Set of injectors and drop in HKS filters, stock exhaust does not hold back a 4.25 and sounds nice, so you end up with

stock cats sell .........................................................................................£700
Y pipes ....................................................................................................£4-500
DP's .........................................................................................................£2-300
total spent ................................................................................................£ total spent £000
1050 Injectors ..........................................................................................£550
HKS drop in filters ....................................................................................£60
ECU license (if car stock) .........................................................................£300
Ecutek V8 .................................................................................................£350
Labour .......................................................................................................£2-300

Extras you may want
Fuel pumps ................................................................................................£180
New plugs ...................................................................................................£130

Seen several done like this on the dyno and running at pod and same power figures as .full. 4.25 and same 1/4 mile runs 10.8 @127/8 mph

Steve McMaster been running this a year or so and smoking some other 4.25's , if you have a license and find some decent used injectors (saw some for £250 the other night) your parts an map would owe you around £600

Top lads Andy and Alan at ACSpeedtech.

Y-pipe can be had for buttons.
I'd bet half a dozen people on here have a Miltek in their garage at home as some come from Nissan fitted with one - mine included.

But I'd add intakes to that list. Not needed per say but worth the money for the difference in intake sound alone.
