generally speaking the R32 seating position is fine, but something was just off, and I can't fully see my stock gauges unless I recline my seat too far, and then I don't feel like I'm in control of the car - this is, after all, a GTR and not a Cadillac low-rider.

Anyways, after getting into my car with a helmet, it hit me. The roof did. Well, the problem anyways. I need to lower my seat an inch, maybe an inch and a half, and then I'd be golden. Is there any way to modify the stock rails to achieve this? Or do I have to throw out the whole kit and kaboodle and get new "lowered" rails and seats?

I have Corbeau seats in my car with Bride subframes and they still seem too high, especially with a skidlid on as it is touching the roof lining. What I have got though, is a Bride fixed bucket seat which I sometimes put in, which is just perfect for allowing crash helmets to be worn:)
