parallel of course, in series would restict the maximum airflow to that of 1 maf only. So you would only be able to measure up to the limit of 1 maf. (250hp?)
Also, if you were to run them in series and wire them both up, you would be measuring the same airflow in each one, ie measuring it twice, and be telling the ECU that you've got twice the airflow that you really have.
