Hello.

I like the rumble sound my Stagea exhaust makes but inside the car it wrecks my head on longer journeys. It's not really loud (just a burble sound when idling) but I would like to hear the whisp noise from the engine more than the exhaust.

What are my options for making the exhaust quieter on my Stagea?

(I also don't like annoying the neighbours)

Bungs are usually the cheap way to go.
May mean drilling a small hole in the exhaust tip to get a custom made one to fit, if you can't buy them for your particular exhaust.

MartyV ... yeh, there's already a small bung in the tip of it but it made it louder if anything. :/

The problem is that its an estate so some "drone" is likely if it has a sports exhaust . You must have an aftermarket exhaust as the stock one is very quiet.

R B Motorsports do a silencer that replaces the cat . Very easy to fit and there is no reduction in performance as it has a big bore . Will fit any exhaust as the bolt holes are the same regardless of the pipe size.

I have one on my Stagae and its now only pretty loud :chuckle: so it will quieten the car by a fair bit .

Alternatively if you want a virtually brand new stock exhaust pm me .

Its just coming off a car to be replaced by a Kakimoto one.
