Some advice needed as im changing my standard turbo’s for 2860-5 on my R34 GTR, I have a standard engine im in the process of acquiring some 720cc Sard injectors but im not to sure what fuel pressure regulator I will need? Im not to clued up on these I know there are two types standard and RJ? What is the difference? Can I get some recommendation on what FPR I should use? I want to keep my standard fuel rail. im looking to gain about 600 hp.

Mods already carried out
Oil cooler kit
Triple core radiator
Apexi cone filter


On coming mods
Surge tank with Bosch 004 pump or upgraded fuel pump?
Upgraded MAF’s or MAP sensor
VI-PEC ECU
Oil catch tank


Future upgrades and mods
Metal head gasket
APR head bolts
Oil restrictor
Head Oil Drain Kit
Cams
120MM intercooler?

Am I heading in the right direction? Some advice would be appreciated. :thumbsup:

From what I have read there is no need to swap out the standard FPR at all
The OEM fuel rail may also be good for 600hp

I have some scans of a really good article from HPI mag that i can mail you

i second that,standard fpr and rail will be fine.i ran 573whp with stock fpr and rail in my r34

has anyone with a 600bhp (approx) had a extended sump or accusump installed? if so is this necessary ?

i have decided on the following mods can you please comment and give suggestions

-links ECU iv been told they come with a map sensor on the ecu ? can anyone confirm

-add the Bosch 044 fuel pump with the standard pump both connected (with out surge tank) to the standard fuel line on the tank.

-Tomei Oil Gallery Restrictor. do I actually need one??

suggestions could be appreciated
