New to this forum having picked up an R33 GTR from The GTR Heritage Centre a couple of weeks ago. Great service from them and can't recommend them highly enough.

Have wanted an R33 GTR for years and timings worked out right to get one.

A few of you may recognise it as it's had two owners in the North East since importing.

I've got a few things planned for it, but in general I want to keep it fairly standard; we'll see how long that plan lasts for.

Off the top of my head 17 x9j ET18.

I need to check when I manage to get them off.

Look nice on 32's, but on my 33 they look a bit lost in my opinion.

cheers

First refusal goes to you TJB.
Will need to get them off the car first; damn stuck locking wheel nuts.
It's due its MOT in Jan and the tyres on the R33 wheels don't have a lot of tread left on the rears, so may not be for a while.

Will keep you updated.

Looks really good mate. Nice one!
I’ve got a couple of bits of wood I use to drive onto before jacking car. Makes life so much easier.
Yes, used bits of wood too, but still tricky. Bigger bits of wood needed next time. Might get some caravan levelling ramps.

And yes, boot lock has been deleted. Not sure if I'm a fan. It kind of looks a bit bare and a bit of a worry if the cable release ever snaps.

Final wash down before being tucked away for the winter. Going to miss it over the next few month.

One thing I love about cars like this is discovering things as you go through the car.

Like some button under the passenger seat. Followed the cable as far as I could but it goes under the carpet to who know where. Any ideas what it could be for?

And also the ECU isn't the standard one I thought. Instead a Garage-D Stage 1.

Very nice, I also own a QM1 R33 GTR :)

Could the button be for an exhaust valve? Does it do anything when you press it? Other than that, carpet up and see where the rabbit hole goes... ;)
