I used to have an older Starlet GT Turbo with roughly 180bhp odd.
Mega fun car, handled like a go-kart and returned fantastic MPG for the fun it put out.
Got a few old photos of it hidden away somewhere also along with my friends ex 205 1.9 GTI. Back in the first days when we started toying with the idea of 'performance' cars - and I don't think we did too badly for our ages
Links might be slow, hosted at home on the ADSL....
Yes the Glanza's are a little slower as standard, but to be honest its not enough to really notice on the road I would say. Both are just as tuneable, but if your inclined to just leave it at a bit of boost, you can concentrate on the handling and make yourself a really good dry weather nippy motor. I say dry weather, because (might only be me) mine was an **** in the wet, and standing traction was non-existant.
Still, it was a hugely enjoyable car for the money
