MY NEW WHITE GTR 33

my new car is a 1998 car that was first REG on april 99 so it is a R33 on a T REG.

THE SPEC IS.
white R33 non v-spec
new engine rebore light and ballance nismo bearings
HKS pistons,HKS steel conrod bolts.
TRUST 1.4mm head gasket
2530 turbos HKS 550cc injectors
TRUST big sump kit, TRUST inlet and exhaust metal gaskets
TOMEI 260 CAMS with 9.15mm lift and TOMEI cam wheels
APEXI power fc with hand set and boost kit
HKS intercooler oil cooler
NISMO clutch ,HKS power flow ind kit
19"x10" BLITZ TEC wheels with 275x30x19" p-zeros 2 sets locking wheel nuts
BLITZ nur spec exhaust BLITZ EGT gauge BLITZ boost gauge
TAROX 6 pot brake kit
HKS fuel pump HKS spark plugs
RB25 80mm air flow meters
TRUST springs HKS turbo timer
Q/SHIFT gear stick kit
HKS torque controller NISMO rad and oil caps
FACTORY MOMO drivers air bag
TANABE sustech dampers
NISMO carbon b-posts/end plates
GTR carbon h/brake and gear knob
KENWOOD sound system.

HI DCD IT FEELS LIKE AS IF YOU ARE DRIVING A GO-CART
WITH 30 PROFILE TYRES ON IT.
I AM RUNNING IN ENGINE FOR 1500 MILES AT 0.8 BAR BOOST
AND REV LIMIT ON POWER FC AT 6000 REVS
DONE 600 BUT COUNTING DOWN EVERY DAY

new car

hi Guy the tarox brakes are 6 pot and i think they are 340mm the person before me fitted them.
as for boost i will be running what boost that rod bell says is safe for the HKS 550 injectors i think around 1.4 to 1.5 bar boost
i dont want big power but safe power and as long as i get over 500 bhp i will be happy.

it is just a pain running the new engine in but will be worth it in the end.

Looking good,love the wheels(got Blitz Techno Speed Z1`s in gold on my Supra).Enjoy your car,btw how long did it take to get the whole thing together?

HENRY SOME OF THE MODS WERE DONE ALREADY

RB MOTORSPORT GOT THE CAR AND ROD TOOK OUT THE ENGINE
AND GOT THE ENGINE REBUILT THEN HE FITTED MOST OF THE OTHER BITS TO THE CAR.
THEN HE MAPPED THE APEXI POWER FC TO RUN LEAN TO RUN IN THE NEW ENGINE AS NOT TO OVER FUEL, SO NOT TO WASH THE CYLINDERS.

WITH THE ENGINE GOING TO THE MACHINE SHOP FOR REBORE,LIGHT AND BALLANCE.IT TOOK 3 DAYS TO GET THE BLOCK AND THE BITS BACK.
THE JOB TOOK 2 WEEKS FROM START TO FINISH
BUT WAS CHARGED 50 HOURS LABOUR

VERY GOOD SERVICE:D :D :D :D :D :D

Keith the new car looks great, good spec!

So if its a T reg does that mean that the car was on sale at £50K originally probally a couple of months prior to the release of the 34 at the same price?

Just interested as to whether Nissan sold their remaining 33's a bit cheaper to clear the way for the 34?

My 33 is a 97/98 and I still run around telling everyone whos rude enough to asks that it was £50K 3 years back . ;)

all i know is ian from hiteq bought it for a customer and it came from a guy that works for middlehurst.
this is all i can tell you ian.

483 bhp 434 lbs torque 4800 revs
