Could be jack in the boot not secured properly (if your car was spec'd with a jack from factory)
Nah, because like the blog post indicates it stops if I apply any brake pressure. It's just the damn lego construction employed by Nissan.

Jack goes in the storage in passenger footwell.

Could it be worth trying some pre 2013 clips for the pads?

Ive never had this my MY09 and MY12, I would call in at your local specialist to get them to come up with a fix

I have a noise that sounds like furniture in the boot rattling around and its giving my OCD a real meltdown.

Its almost certainly the 2nd noise identified in this blog for the gtr symphony of sounds.

Just wanted to check if any of you fine people have found a solution to this?

such a good link!! and handy.. hope you get yours sorted... BTW any squeaks and rattles, from inside the cabin which i had when i 1st bought mine, and was PROPER annoying, I took the car to pwpro who strip R35s nearly daily for wrapping, so know then inside out, they stripped the inside applied foam strips etc to the normal squeaky areas, also had the centre console done as well and now its sqeak free and has been for a few years now, bliss!

Couple of things it could be - if it has a tracker fitted that could be left flapping about, poorly installed, (edited by admin on location, be sensible peeps!)

Some brake pads have bigger holes for the pins than the oem ones and they rattle - also the pins wear in the calipers - i removed mine cleaned them and coated with silicone sealant where they insert into the caliper

Could be seen as cost cutting to some :)

The brake pad thing you describe sounds like a likely source and fix. I'll give it a go. Thx
