No issues so far, but 2nd service due in May. Only had issues with Nissan customer service. Hursts have been fine from the day I ordered, but were incapable of registering my car in GB or indeed taxing it - had to go to Preston DVLA and do it myself.

Sorry mate I did have a period of unhappiness when the exhaust surrounds became discoloured due to the HPC in Tunbridge Wells washing the car at 1200 service. Hursts followed the Nissan line for some time "nothing to do with us it must be what your washing it with" and I did for three weeks feel like I was banging my head on a wall. Suregaurd refused to pay under warranty so that was a waste of £500.
They ended up replacing them with the ones off their demo.
Not the ideal solution, but resolved the issue.
What specifically are you unhappy with as I can take my car anywhere for service as I am in GB a fair bit.
You can pm me if you want to keep it off forum - interested to know issues.

When I buy Mercs, its yes sir, we shall try to help etc. When i buy Nissan the problem is thrown back in my face, with the council estate hardman over defensive contrary attitude the service manager always uses. Nothing is ever their fault, and it got to be my driving etc. Even when the UK's head of tech asks them to do things to my car they dont and then lie about why they "cant".

I am aware that the same service manager damaged a customers GTR he only had a few weeks and it sat there with a broken bumper for another few weeks, when they finally took the bumper off another car and put it back on the road.

And it aint just Nissan, a Specialist cars mechanic has just wrote off a Ferrari on a two mile run from the showroom.

Another customers engine died. They spent their time blaming him, and only after a considerable amount of hassle they ordered a new engine from japan and took forever to fit it with little updates and customer care.

I could go on all night.........................

My car drives like a kangaroo, even takes the massive leaps when cold on part throttle and they say they cant fix it "it just the way they are". Head of tech said they could, and of course Hursts know better.

Fancy taking mine to Litchfields lol ?

Sorry to hear the problems. I dont just think its a particular dealer, although I agree with the Merc scenario here as I have had nothing but good words for their service dept in Belfast. Apart from sales when I went to trade in my C55 F1 estate £11k is all we can offer sir. We buy any car offered more!
Then there was the Audi lot who when talking to another dealer regarding trading in my S4 some years ago and the conversation regarding me was slanderous so they will never get my custom again. Oh I remember him he even had us change the headlight that had a scratch on it fussy b/tard, bugger me the car was £33k. Then there was the BMW dealers who I had a real ding dong with 5 years ago and ended up with £500 compo.
Anyway enough of the rant. The problem is that in NI there are two/three groups who own all the dealerships and they have a monopoly and a monopoly attitude. If you dont like it then tough shit is the feeling I get generally.
Next time I will follow my heart and buy in England. Shame really as I am a big believer in supporting local business. I think it may well be Middlehursts for me at next service.
The Nissan thing is even worse with the customer service dept, you may as well be talking to an automated response - sorry nothing to do with us.
Hope things get sorted for you. My experience of another HPC was not good though- fortunately it wasnt middlehurts. C63 AMG maybe?

If they put locked gates on either end of boucher road that might just be doing the car drivers of N.I. a favour lol.
Audi, I walk in on behalf of an EX who asked me to get her a deal, in a suit, with a fresh 350Z stuck right outside their door and showing great interest in the cars, and with another boucher road salesman with me, and they stared out the window, talked to their mates on the phone and ignored me. So I coughed "assholes", left and bought her one else where.
Agnews did look after my CLK 320 and later the 55AMG very well. Sales staff can be a bit cocky, but I can clip their wings easily.
BMW, I would not even darken their door.
The GTR service isnt difficult, its just nobody else here has the software for the gearbox etc to get it driving reasonably smooth. £120 an hour, £25 more than agnews Merc !!
Cave man Nissan service manager needs to go, who by the way came from warranty, has never worked as a mechanic, and reckons his serria cosworth sapphire is a way better car than my 350Z? wtf?
Boucher road is full of cocky little nobodys with a big ego providing what may be the worst customer service in europe. I poped £120K on 2 gtr's and one 350Z in 16 months in Hursts and the service manager spends his time slagging me off because I seem to be better versed on tech issues than him.
My 350Z, the clutch bit way late, even on the new one they fitted when the original failed, and I had to adjust the bite point myself, and they said it couldnt be done, just like resetting the gears of my GTR.
Hursts are always using the "cant do this or that or we would loose are dealership" but they can sicken lots of customers and get away with it. Time Nissan UK were brought to task over it.

Sounds like your the man groover. Locked gates on Boucher Road thats going back a few years !
It is a shame as in all the dealerships I have ever been in there has always been at least one excellent, courteous and knowledgeable member of staff, but as you say they are usually outnumbered by the ones who aren't.
The amount of cars, tightness of parking places in Hursts usually means im parked in the disabled bay when i call in just to ensure no scratches on the car.
Our problem is that we dont have a choice for service/ fault issues.
Seriously though tell Nissan you are not happy and they should send over someone who knows what they are doing or maybe they will concierge it to Scotland. We dont seem to have that service here either.
I was nice and calm before you started this thread!

Why not just report a bad HPC to Nissan UK, and let them deal with it? If enough of you report the HPC and tell Nissan everything in a polite manner, then maybe you can have the last laugh.

All details will be in the events section as soon as we're ready. It looks like it will be a short (20m) session at an event rather than a full blown day. Sorry :(

IF so, its Sat dyno day, see if your y pipes and cobbs are doing anything for you, Sat night food and a few drinks - social, sun morn show and shine, sun afternoon, drag strip, which suits the R35 guys best as you CANNOT fail to get an 11.x run and most likely beat whatever you up against simply by flooring it off the line !.
