Good evening all, I'm after those vents that go in the front bumper, I think they're called N1 vents (they go above the number plate),I've just got a 400R bumper that hasn't got any in it and I have some questions on em?

1 Do you need to cut a hole in the bumper reinforcing bar to get better air flow to the i/c?

2 Does anyone make em in carbon?

3 Where can I get em from?

To answer your questions:

1. Yeah you do need to cut holes in the bumper reinforcing bar.
2. Newera do them in carbon AFAIK. The originals are very, very pricey. I used fibre glass copies. The copies are often not a great fit.
3. As above for the carbon 1s and Japsalon do them in FRP.

FYI they were a real PITA and I probably wouldn't have bothered with them if I knew just how much of a PITA they are to get fitted. Just my opinion.

Sorted Andy, I was about to text ya, see if you were taking the engine out, was gonna pop over but all nice and warm on the sofa at the mo so maybe tomoz, I'll have a gander at those vents too.
