This year the GTROC will be hosting the National Skyline & GTR Festival being held at Elvington Airfield in conjunction with;
Ten of the Best on July 30th and 31st.

The Festival this year promises to be an excellent weekend. Everyone has the choice of visiting for a single day, either Saturday or Sunday or making a weekend of it.

On Saturday everyone who attends can enter what is known as Boot Camp or just enjoy the day relaxing. Boot Camp gives you full unlimited access to the handling track, the 1/4 mile drag strip and the 1km high speed run. Points are awarded to the best cars in each discipline and the driver with the most points at the end of the day gets free entry in to the main competition on the Sunday. So Saturday can be as active as you want it to be. Boot Camp entry costs £45 for unlimited runs.

Sunday is competition day. Last year the GTROC Team won TOTB and therefore are defending the title this year. It promises to be a terrific competition with the MLR and EVOs trying to snatch the title away from us. Anyone who fancies being part of the Team this year should contact me by pm.

On Sunday we will also hold a 'Show and Shine' competition to determine best 32, 33, 34, 35, Stagea and overall show champion.

A Facebook page has been started at and already has (at this time) 1,934 interested and 424 going. This could be the biggest meeting of Skylines and GTRs ever so don't miss out.

We have arranged for discounted tickets to be available to everyone at the same price Member or Non-Member however GTROC Members will get free food and drink over the whole weekend. Ticket prices are;

Saturday only £9.50 ; Sunday only £13.00

If you want to stay the weekend then you can camp at the site or stay locally at a hotel or B&B.
Weekend entry tickets are £22.00. If you want to camp and enjoy the on site evening entertainment the Weekend With Camping ticket is only £30.00

All of the above tickets are entry tickets to attend the show if you want to use the tracks you will also need to buy a Boot Camp ticket.

Tickets are now on sale at NATIONAL Skyline & GT-R Festival ? GTROC
Children of age sixteen or below do not require tickets, they get free entry and there is no limit to the number of children per adult.

The usual list of attendees will follow but names are only to be added after ticket purchase please.

See you there. Any Questions?? Please ask away.
