Hi Chaps

I hoping to relocate my vehicle to New Zealand from the UK.

I need to get hold of a document called a "Statement of Compliance" from Nissan's Homologation Department.

What are our clubs links like into Nissan for access to this documentation?

All help much appreciated.

First thing to establish is whether the car was a 'Grey' import or not. If it is then Nissan will not be able to help you but Middlehurst's in St Helens might.

If a proper UK supplied vehicle then the first step is Nissan Customer Relations at Maple Cross giving them Reg No, Vin No, Engine No and date of registration.

If it is over 5 years old, you will be referred to the DVLA in Swansea and then.....................

Thanks for the heads up.

Yep sadly it's a Grey as section K of the V5 document was not completed at time of import and registry in the UK

The Japanese export notice did not come with the car either. That document would have been sufficient also. But in lieu of that it's the compliance cert.

The car entered the country in 2003 after the first honorable owner in Japan sold it on.
