Carbon Fibre Spoiler, side vents, bonnet vents, 4 light conversion kit and ultra bright white number plate LEDs just arrived from Knight Racer! Thanks for the top quality service KR and the extra LED bulbs!!

Now then, how early can I leave work to go and fit my new toys?

I don't know if it's ok to reply to my own thread but I will anyway!

Number plate LEDs fitted along with 4 light conversion kit and super white LED side lights all in less than an hour (in the rain).

Tip... Make sure you don't accidentally knock a side light off when you refit them. Once they drop inside the headlamp enclosure they're a nightmare to fish back out again.

4 more posts and I can stick some pics up!

The spoiler is a pain to remove as the tape that holds it on is officially the stickiest double sided tape EVER...!

I also read that about that. My plan is to have a go at it this weekend and if it starts to get scary or it looks like I might damage something then I will get a Pro on the job.

I remember fitting a "bird table" to an Escort Ghia a very long time ago. Didn't think anything of taking a drill to the bodywork back then.

Oh how things have changed!

Ok...I will come clean.

When I say "Ghia" I meant canary yellow 1.1 with Ghia trim and badge.

It was my first car which inevitably ended up in a hedge on its roof.

Hope your KR Spoiler is better quality than mine. The carbon is already fading in one big patch and it's only seen the sun for less than a year. Get what you pay for I guess.

Have you considered contacting KR and seeing what they think/can do?

Any pics?

Karls, can you please pm me your order details (full name, shipping address and which spoiler you ordered) if it was one of our Hybrid Carbon products, it shouldnt fade on it's own. And if it's within 12months, we can probably offer to rectify this for you. Thanks.

Tinimark,
Nice chatting on the phone today. As mentioned, the stock spoiler is a task to remove. Give me a shout if you get stuck with any of the products.

All new parts fitted with no major issue with bits not fitting. The CF parts from KR look really nice...quite subtle. I love the look of the new rear wing.

Only problem I had was when the wind blew the boot shut after I'd disconnected the boot latch. Quick call to Paul at Pwpro and he told me how to get back in the boot in seconds...thanks Paul!
