For 58000Yen , I don't think you get a opening mecanisme. It's to use open or closed and for that: do you need the standard aitfilter box?

I guess you can open it before setting out and then close it when the car is parked up and not in use - stop all the rain, dust and dirt entering the engine bay....

would be cool if it had some kind of remote mechanism (though the bonnet weight would increase a lot)
