For my project I am going to need to buy a new clutch, was thinking of Nismo Twin or OS Giken Twin.

I therefore have a problem, the clutches need run in gently for 1000 miles but to get my car running I will need to get it mapped which means hard full power runs on the dyno.

Any idea what to do? I can get a second hand clutch and flywheel so its already bedded in but then I'll only have to drop the engine again to change it far sooner than I'd like which is a massive pain and also theres no guarantee whatever clutch I get second hand will be ok/fault free.

Where have you read that a clutch needs running in?
I have fitted a new Nismo Super coppermix twin plate and put it straight on a dyno with no issues. I was running about 90% of the clutch capacity.
