Before i start to make my own rose jointed top arms for a GTS-t R33 do you happen to know if anything decent is commercially available please? Nice spec car. Rod Bell knows plenty about building a good RB26 or RB25 engine. Ian at Hiteq is extemely competent, so are others. I am doing my own, with advice from some of the above!

I think that I can help you there Chris, it's all very simple... :D
 In fairness I am so busy with race engine and chassis work I'd be a fool unto myself to try and take on any road car stuff at the moment, but come the end of the race season, who knows! I am confident you'll be able to oblige me if the time comes :smokin:

I'm not a paid up trade subscriber, so I can't tell people what a fantastic engine I built you.....
;)

Everyone, it's a fookin stunning engine. Faultless, absolutely faultless. The sweetest revving thing you have ever heard.

Your very kind Charlie, thanks mate! If you are anyone else is interested I am taking pics of my own RB26 GTR engine build, which is going in my R33 GTS-t later in the year. Have a roam around the folders and pics at This Site Some of the photos are quite large files. I am at the stage where I have to do all the piston deck heights and machine the crowns to get my desired compression ratio, otherwise the bottom end is pretty much done, and I will be atarting on head porting, chamber balancing, machining cam lobe reliefs et cetera. It's taking a while as I unfortunately have to make a living as well as play with my own engines!

I must bring it down to you once Rod has finished putting the OS box in it and the new brakes are fitted.

(he is also having the wheels powder coated, Iwanted somewhere between the car colour, and black but they have ended up lighter than the car, hmmmmmm. Hope they haven't ended up looking like cheap Halfords alloys  )
