I know the skylines have always been a family of cars but it does seem that this generation haven't been particularly inspired by the track, which worries me a bit. I hope we don't get an overweight sports coupe like the Merc CLK, instead of a thoroughbred sports car

Mattb,

Seems like that's where the next GTR is headed, an overweight comfortable touring sports coupe, at least the U.S bound GTR is.

As of most Japanese sports car that came to the U.S, they all become soft ,comfortable and heavy with less power. Just look at the NSX, it rides like an Accord.

That's why the R34 GTR is the last hardcore thoroughbred sports car :D

You are right there, its a shame they are making all cars overweight, enviromental friendly with no power as to not upset the Green'ies, who all drive around in clapped out, poluting Citroen 2cv's (sweeping statement, I know) but the people who want to drive face drakonian speeding laws, and cars that have to be quiet.

I wouldn't say it is a woman's car, it does look rather good.

It aren't a real sports car for sure though
