What about GT-RS turbo's?

Hi DCD,

through the grapevine I heard about the latest generation of HKS turbo's: the GT-RS series. They are supposed to be very good: very quick spool-up plus lots of airflow.

Any news about them from the Land of the Rising Sun?

By the way: is anyone in the UK already using these?

Just curious,

MDG.

Yes I've heard lots of good things about these turbos. They can flow enough air for 400ps each and are the latest generation turbines from Garrett/HKS. Apparently they have much less lag than 2540s and can flow more...
Mario (exvitermini.com) has mentioned on the SDU boards that he is currently running tests on them, but apart from that I have not heard of anyone else using them yet. There are also smaller ones available, the GT-SS, which are similar size to 2510s but flow more air.

here is the HKS link for the GT-RS:

yep thats right. I still don't if you can use the HKS manifolds with them as they will definetly need a bit of piping to take care of shuffling....but I expect they can
