The CPR Rear Exhaust Section has been labelled a true work of art by GT-R Owners who have chosen to modify their exhaust system with the CPR Part. The stock exhaust tone of the original system has generally been described as being far too quiet, not a true and fair representation of the immense, highly developed 3.8 V6 Power Plant. Without creating excess noise and leaving the owner with an intrusive, obnoxious exhaust tone, we focused on providing an exhaust tone that represented the High-End Prestige Image they felt the GT-R now belonged to, amidst the upper echelon of exhaust systems of the Exotica Tuning World from companies like ‘Tubi’ and ‘NoviTec’.
With a <b>3.5” Primary Pipe</b>, splitting gradually into twin 3” Split Pipework, the physical size of the CPR System dwarves the stock restrictive mass-produced exhaust system. The sweeping Criss-Cross Pipework features all smooth Mandrel Bends, entirely in twin 3”, promoting superior exhaust gas flow. The design allows the use of long high efficient Bullet Silencers made in-house as opposed to boxes, to allow for maximum flow and noise reduction. This design of the bullets creates a very distinctive look for the CPR System. The final part of the exhaust system features elegant split equal length pipework of the quad 3” sections, finished with four Slash-Cut Mirror Polished 4.5” Outlet Tips, allowing a subtle yet high class aesthetic improvement over the cheap looking, add-on tail trims of the stock system.

The entire system weighs approximately 27kg, with the Front Y-Pipe weighing 8kg, and the Complete Rear Section 19kg. The stock system weighs 28kg. The CPR System is manufactured from Industry-Highest Quality Grade of T304 1.0mm Walled Stainless Steel.

The CPR system also features Motorsport derived solutions, including 3.5” V-Band Clamping, to join the separate exhaust sections together, as opposed to conventional 3 or 2 bolt Flanges that rely on gaskets and bolts to seal. The inclusion of a high quality Motorsport Grade V-Band Clamp ensures the best possible fitment and sealing between the Y Pipe De-Cat and the Cat Back Rear Section.

Compared to the majority of the Aftermarket Japanese Systems, the CPR GT-R System differs dramatically in its design and construction. The majority of Titanium Systems offered by the likes of Sunline, Amuse and Mine’s offer marginal weight reductions over the CPR System, but with drawbacks noted by CPR’s Engineers during their testing of various Japanese Aftermarket Systems, including Poor Fitment, Necessity in some circumstances to Remove Rear Diffuser Supports, and most notably, greater restriction recorded through the presence of smaller diameter pipework. The Racing Creation System offers customers a free-flowing and excellent fitting prestige product, at a reduced price compared to the rival systems (some costing over £2,500.00+VAT).

Noise Output for this System is 97dB at 4,500 rpm Static Test, and around 95dB at Drive-by, so you can be assured that your GTR will be able to run at all circuits for trackdays without concern of getting blackflagged for noise limit breaking.

Now THAT is what I call value for money! Whether this makes 1BHP more than stock or alternative expensive systems or 50 BHP is irrelevant. It shows that companies can make products for the GTR and sell them at a competitive price and still make money.
All we need now is for everyone else (Dunlop/Nismo, Akrapovic etc etc and Nissan themselves!) to follow the example set by CPR and stop ripping us off..
The quality of the workmanship looks impressive and hope you sell tons of them!

+1 - it's amazing just how much money all parts (OEM and aftermarket) are for the GTR when compared with parts for just about any other motor (maybe not Lambo's Ferrrari's etc.)

BHP, we are considering a Titanium Version, yes!
We're currently finishing off our new Racing Version 2 of this Exhaust System which will be released soon, and having experienced the response of launching our Version 1 System at this special price, with many systems now sold to GTR Owners here in UK and Europe, with great feedback, we're absolutely flat out manufacturing the Version 1 System, that the Ti System development has been delayed a little!

We have sold quite a few Version 1 Systems now through the GTROC, and remind potential customers that the Introductory Offer on our Version 1 System at £1295.00 will expire by the end of Februrary, so please don't miss out!
