Picked up my GTR last week. 09 plate.
(cant post pictures as only a newbie with <15 posts)
It has a Milltek ypipe on and also the rear light mod as all 4 rights light on sidelights (I'm correct in assuming this is a mod?)
I am booked in to Litchfield for a full service and stage 4 conversion.
Last night I tried out launch control for the first time and I wanted to test something, I saw on videos user adjustable rpm in lanch control with the cruise control toggle, so I tried that and my rpm did go up and down from the 4k mark with the switch, so what does this mean?
ECU remap?
2012 gearbox software?
Nothing? all 09 plates do this?
I'm just curious if its been mapped to stage 1 at least, as the previous owner had obviously put the ypipe on.
So hoping someone can tell me a way to see if it has? Or should I just book in to a rolling road somewhere to see
While I'm here:
With my stage 4 and service at Litchfield, I'm being told I need to spend nearly £500 having the gearbox opened up and solenoid caps replaced, is this money well spent? Or give it a miss for now as I dont seem to be having any box issues? car is nearly on 40k
