Hi All on GTROC

Just joined and psyched about becoming a GTR owner. Previously had a 350z and about to step up to its big brother. It'll be a childhood dream after seeing my first GTR 15+ years ago.

Looking to buy a 2009 Black edition, UK car, un-mod or stage 1 only, fsh Nissan or Litchfield, sat nav, no more than 30k miles in Black or Blue.

Does anyone have some top tips for things to look out for when buying this car please? And do you guys share info on cars you're thinking of buying to see if anyone knows it's history etc? Also, any other specialists that I should know of other than Litchfield?

Many thanks and will post some old pics of some Skyline magic
Cheers

Welcome - good luck with search - blue only came along in MY2012 cars.

Litchfield look after my car and do an awesome job - Kaizer who are more local to you are a Litchfield approved garage that might suit your location

Why not come to the ace cafe tomorrow morning? Plenty chance to learn and there are even some cars for sale. Believe Iain Litchfield will be there if that helps.

Where's the Ace cafe? In Wales this weekend but could slip away for a few hours depending. Is this an organised, monthly event of some sort?

Welcome! There's quite a few GT-R's for sale, you shouldn't have any trouble finding one and most have been looked after. Don't panic if a car doesn't have NHPC history as a lot of cars get serviced/looked after by the independents such as Litchfields. My car hasn't been near a Nissan dealer since the first service apart from a recall and it runs like a Rolex!
