as far as im aware my fuel pump is a nismo 276 lph fuel pump. at 3.5 base pressure and 1.5 bar boost what bhp roughly would the pump support at 5 bar fuel pressure ? will it still flow 276 lph ?

ive just found nismo site looks to be 225 lph at 5 bar.

my old cossie had 1 bosch 044 at 5.2 bar on full boost and was 473 bhp and i think an 044 is only 200 lph at 3 bar.

im just curious what power it should theoretically support at 225 lph ?

@225 around 550bhp region i would think..

the oo4 are rated 300lph i think..not sure at what pressure though.U must have been running alot of boost in that cossie !
2.2 bar with a t4 :) would see 950 c exhaust temps above 160 though :bawling:

@225 around 550bhp region i would think..

044 is rated at 200 lph at 5 bar pressure. 300 lph free flow.
and they say it can support up to 685 bhp ? :nervous:

nismo states my pump should be 225 lph at 5 bar.

ya thats about right.gtrglenn on here uses one 004..hes running 650bhp with [email protected]

I have one 276lph hks pump..i have 602bhp at 1.4kgs
600 bhp at 1.4 kgs :thumbsup:

im running the same boost but made 537 bhp.

i think my bhp figure is quite conservative though as my 660 cc injectors are seeing 100 % duty at 7k rpm and my rb25det afms are maxed out aswell !
and thats at 12.0 afr on full boost fueling !

why do you need 5 bar pressure?
well if it runs 1.5 bar boost with base pressure at 3.5 will be 5 bar on boost. my 660ccs are at 100 % mate,at 3 bar base 4.4 on boost !

a ya,660s are restricting you.I have 750cc rcs,1 pump(hotwired)and a tomei fpr(stock rail+lines)..plenty scope left in my injectors..what turbos/cams you running and who mapped your car?I dont think your injectors should be maxing out..660s aint that small,should easily support 536bhp

Im sure my pump runs at 2.5 bar base pressure,mayby 3 bar but either way i never need more than 4.4bar pressure when on full boost. u sure your pumps base pressure is 3.5bar..?do you have an adjustable fpr?

current pressure is 3 bar vac pipe removed. spoke to my mapper today and hes 99 % sure its fuel pump issue at higher revs cant keep up the flow. my pump is either knackered or not a 280 lph. so ive just ordered a tomei 280 lph pump, along with the z32s and then remap at 1.5 bar hopefully :)
i already have adj fpr.

i run 1 nismo in tank, 750cc injectors, stock rail & lines, aeromotive fpr, pushing 510awhp... but i assume i have no more room for further tuning.... 87mm, full forged, balanced,-5 turbos, tomei dumps, hks downpipe, hks 3.5" cat back, test pipe, tomei 270 procams @ 10.2 lift, port & polish etc etc etc...

i ran it tonight at 1.2 bar and injectors peaked at 90 %. air flows peaked at 4700 mvs.

tomei pump and z32s should be here tomorrow so hopefully over to zen performance in wellingborough on friday for fitting and remap on his rollers :)

my bhp now according my last r/r run should be about 480 bhp but there is now way are 660 cc densos at 90 % although pump not supplying enough so opening wider but rb25det mafs at 4.7 volts at 480 bhp ! and at fueling of 12.0 - 1 afr ! i think my last r/r run was abit under true power. i will post results when ive been :)

dont think your going to need bigger injectors to be honest..660s should be plenty for 600bhp thinking about it now.Zen.. arent they the guys with that big power blue impreza?thel sort it out!

yeah time attack 750 bhp impreza

ive just checked fuel pressure and its dropping of at 6500 rpm !
