Hello, I need to purchase an oil pump for my RB26. The engine is fully forged and balanced and I plan to be reaching power in the mid to high 600 rwhp range with revs above 8000. I previously purchased an N1 oil pump, however I believe the build has outgrown it. I can get the Nismo pump (15010-RR580) for US$925 shipped. Do you think that this pump can handle power and revs in that range? Does anyone have any other suggestion, don't want to spend more than $1000 shipped?

I have already decided that the N1 pump is not going to be used. I don't want it to limit the potential of the engine, as the internals are built to handle more than an N1 can safely handle. My question is what can a Nismo pump handle?

I have been running a Nismo Oil Pump for ages now on 520hp at the wheels.
It does track days, And has very good pressure.

Since starting this thread I have purchased the JUN pump.

Anyway... Nismo looks exactly the same as the standard oilpump. Only difference is the gear material, harder/forged metal or whatever it is.
