I have a Nismo plaque on the underside of my bonnet and have been wondering why its there for a few weeks now so thought i'd ask you guys. The badge is actually on the bonnet itself but the car is not a Nismo.
Does anyone know why it would be there? Could it be a Nismo bonnet?
it has japanese writing and 30000-RS590 writen on it?
Any idea's?

The RS590's are the Nismo turbos as used on the Group A cars.

When parts like these were fitted by Nismo they put those plaques on the car, basically to prove its genuine.

So it sounds like somewhere in its life in Japan, it had Nismo RS590 turbos fitted by a Nismo outlet

Ah thats great! Thanks for the info mate. I wonder if it still has these turbo's? I was aware it had Uprated R34 turbo's (N1's?). Which is the better of the 2?

No - it's a part number for an older Nismo clutch.

Yeah just googled it and it came back as a clutch. Ah well.

Load's of R32 stuff ends in RS590

More R33 that ends RS590, R32 tends to be RS580.

Hmm, well i guess it has something Nismo on it somewhere lol. The bonnet extension is anyway.
